performance Task-unit 5

In this unit a learn about bully and that cause about bully. I hears many  different way to be bully, and as it has happened to many people,that they got bully and do not tell no one and all ways kip things to them self , also I heard a lot different opinions of how people who get bullied him should handle the situation. In this unit we as a advisory we talk about many things that can be help use if we get bully and if we see other get bully. Another thing that we talk about in this unit is if we see some bully will you help them and in what way will you help them, you will tell a teacher, stand for them Or if you will we does people that does not do nothing because you do not want to make problem for your self.

 

Unit 4 Performance Task

The criteria the my advisory set for growth mindset were Zen counting,bird box, lava floor, and  communicator. For what I know the zen counting
grant in making a circle and count to a certain number without offsetting and passing a person in each number. I do not know the lava one because I was not in school that day. and the communication was that a person had an image in front of them and no one else could see it, that person had to say all the things that appeared in the image while the other partner drew what the communication said.

My favorite  initiative was the zen counting My and my advisory,we show growth mentality, by using counseling, and by this I mean, that was the first day that I saw that my classmates were fully consented, They use they growth mindset in a good way in this task.

I can use growth mindset outside of advisory by Concentrate on class and for doing my job with an open mind.

The grade that deserve on growth mindset for this unit is 3 I think because although I do not speak in class with anyone and I do not do Rick taking but this day I am participating and speaking when I really need to. 

Mars 4.2: Distance to Mars

The project

The goal of this project was to now the Distance of Mars.

I position the ping pong ball in from of my aye, at the same as the planets.

4 thing the I measure for each cardboard planet (A, B, C) was Diameter of the ping pong ball and the planet and the distance from my face for the ping pong ball and that planet.

Data: Cardboard A, B, C

Planet A:

The ping pong ball diameter was 9 ping pong ball from my ayes.

The planet diameters was 9 planet away  from my eye.

planet B:

The ping pong ball diameter was 10 ping pong ball  aways from my ayes.

The planet diameters was 100 planet away  from my eye.

planet C:

The ping pong ball diameter was 10 ping pong ball  aways from my ayes.

The planet diameters was 10 planet away  from my eye.

Claim

The relationship between the distance of the ping pong ball and the distance of the cardboard planet are that they are both need it.

Example

IF the ping pong ball was 4 ping pong ball diameter from my ayes, 11 planet diameters away from my eyes.

Significance

This relationship allow me to calculate the distance for the planet.

3 measurements do y need to do this are ruler, ping pong ball and the diameter of the planet.

Applying what I learned: Finding the distance to Mars

In order to calculate the distance to mars, I need to know wide mars was.I estimate the diameter of mars by using the Diameter  from my face and the ratio.

Two thins the my teacher measure when he was looking at mars at night was Diameter of the ping pong wall and the diameter of the planet then the distance from your face, of the ping pong ball and the planet.

When the plastic ball looked the same size as mars, there were 38 plastic ball diameters away from the plastic ball from the teacher’s eyes.

Therefore, the mars diameter  away must mars be is 55 or 11

According to my calculations, the distance to mars in kilometers is 60,000,000km.

Travel Time

Base on the distance I found,  it would take 47days to get to Mars

Base on the distance and time required to get to Mars, I thing is not practical for people to move there.

The project

The goal of this project was to make a Microphone.

My microphone was made out of

The three essential components of my microphone was the coil wire, the cup with plastic wrap, and the magnet.

I connect my microphone to a computer.

In order for my microphone to pick up my voice, I gat to be close to it.

My microphone is a special example of a machine that I built before. What kind of machine is it?

when I speak the diaphragm

That coil wire is attached to audio jack.

The magnet is inside the straw.

When I push down on the diaphragm,  the coil of wire get close to the  straw, the wire or to the table.

when you tap the diaphragm with my finger in the coil of wire you make electricity.

What happens in the coil of wire when you speak into the microphone?

A nearby  magnet move and sound is produced.

I know that typography is a style or appearance of text and the art of working with text, typeface is a design of tape.

Typeface also is  the letter that we use like, arial geography, and many more.

I need to know that typeface is a design of tape. And that have they specific style.

The resources the I’m using to get the information that I need on the video the is on google classroom my note and what have Learn,I can use safari to or google.

The problem is to make a  Typeface of the letter A-z

The requirements is to make the letter A,B,C that’s is unique and  then make them from letter A to Z with my own scrap.

I’m using the information acquired to define your design to know that I need to do a design that is unique and that is creative, In my  one design thinking.

This that are good of this design is that is a little unique, That is made by my on and that I understand what i got to do, and that I like it.

This this is not to go about this design is that is not the unique but the was what I was capable of doing, and that I don’t know how to make the “s” on this design.

That design that is more likely to be successful is this one because is the one that my teacher said “ok” of all the others this was the one that she decided was better and was the one that I liked the most.

That factor the was most important in helping me decide was that graph paper, myself, the squares that are on the palate and the ruler.

The materials and supplies that I will need for my designs is  ruler, pencil, a graph paper.

I have some  problem making the letter “s” I don’t know how to maker by way of my design process. I don’t make any change to my design and I think I will not make  any change.well a made a littler one, At first I made this scrap but then I made it shaded and that could be done. so I did not do that and try another one, and she said that the second one was fine only that I removed the shaded letters.

Typography Art

Typography is a style or appearance of text and the art of working with text.Typography can be an intimidating subject, but it doesn’t have to be. serif is one of the letter.Serif  have little stroke called serifs attached to the main part of the letter. Because of their classic look, they’re a good  choice for more traditional projects. people use this format form many things.

 How can typography become art?

Typography became  art because  the lyrics came from their style of design, and their ability  to created, different tape of writing. It become an art because many people  you it from many celebrations and for party. And like this image they using typography and transform it into written art.

What words inspire you?

The words the inspire me was, Fonts because  they have they own language. They all have something to say, beyond the words on the page. They can come across as casual or neutral; exotic or…graphic. And that’s why it’s important to think about your message, and pick a font that fits. Some of them come with an extra baggage, like comic sans, curls, papyrus, and many more.  People use them a lot  so that’s way they should use Bubbleboddy, spirax, mondo more now.

What do you think are the advantages of learning about the world of typography?

I think that the advantages of learning about the world of typography is because I can use them to or next lesson if we going to do about it and to now different way to do a design. A so I can  learn all of them and what they mean”s so when you write you now what you doing.

 

Headphone 1.18:Prototype #2

The project

  1. My headphones, Prototype #1 worked but wasn’t loud enough. The goal of Prototype #2 was to find out what makes the sound of the headphone louder.
  2. I change one design variable to see how it affected sound volume. The design variable that I change was The number of the wire Instead of 100 I put 50.
  3. I kept all other design variables the same because if I changed more them one seeing them I would not know exactly what the sound is.

 

Data

  1. The Value of how many  times that I  rotates the wire for my prototype  #1 was 100
  2. The Value of how many times that I rotates the wire for my prototype#2 was 50
  3. My prototype#2 sounded louder compared to prototype#1.

 

Claim

My prototype #2 produces louder sound.

Reasoning

My data suggest that this is true because prototype #2 had a smaller diaphragm and sounded louder.

Significance

If  I were to make a prototype #3, I would add more wire and more magnet in order to get  the loudest sound.

The large fork vibrate fewer times than the small tuning fork.

The large tuning fork had a lower pitch.

The drum vibrated  when played.

The violin vibrated when played.

The ukulele vibrated when played.

The singer’s vocal cord vibrate when she sang.

My throat vibrated when I hummed.

Analysis

All of the instrument vibrate when making sound.

the small tuning tuning fork vibrated about 2 time faster than the large tuning fork

 

Claims

Sound is caused by vibration.

The higher the frequency of vibration, the higher the pitch.

Reasoning

My experiment suggests that sound is caused by vibration because all of the instruments vibrate when making sound.

My experiment suggests that the higher the frequency of vibration, the higher the pitch because the higher tuning fork vibrated faster.

Significance

if i want to make a machine that  can make any sound, it needs to be able to have vibration.
